Random Fact of the Day:
From 1789 to 1933 the Presidential inauguration was held on March 4. This was due to the fact that it took weeks to collect and count the votes and then weeks by coach or horse for the President-elect to get to the capital. The date was changed to January 20 by the 20th Amendment to the Constitution in 1937.
